Self Assessment Tax Return

The tax year runs from 6 April to the 5 April the following year. HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs) requires that companies keep full details of all their income during the tax year. These details then have to be included on the Self assessment Tax return which must be returned to HMRC by 31 January the following tax year. So for the tax year 2010/2011 the tax return must be returned by 31 January 2012.

HMRC issue tax returns to self employed individuals and company directors, if a tax payer is not sent a tax return but has tax due; HMRC should be contacted who may then issue a tax return.

Completing a tax return can be a chore; we provide a tailored service with flexible pricing. After assessing the complexity of the individual tax return we will quote you in advance so that there are no surprises.

We will complete the individual annual tax return from the information the business supplies to us, personal income will be computed, National Insurance Contributions (Class 2 and Class 4) and Income Tax calculated and will return the self assessment by the due date to the HMRC.
